Game Activity
Game Activity shows friends and server members what you're playing, detected automatically while a game is open, or set by hand. Desktop app only.
Turning it on#
- Open Settings → Modules and turn on Game Activity.
- A Game Activity tab appears in Settings with everything below.
Currently showing at the top tells you what others see right now ("Nothing, go play something" when nothing's detected), with a Clear button.
How detection works#
While a game window is open, Sunflare looks at the running program's name and matches it to a game. Once a game has been identified, Sunflare remembers it, so it shows up instantly next time. Game names and cover art come from IGDB.
Getting your games recognized#
Scan your Steam library Windows#
Click Scan Steam Library to find every game installed through Steam ahead of time, so each one is ready the moment you launch it. If your Steam library is somewhere unusual, use Choose a Different Folder.... Tick the games you want and click Add Selected.
Set it by hand#
Not seeing your game? Search for it under Set it by hand and pick it. Added games are listed under Added Games.
Map a program to a game#
Under Add a process to show, choose a running program (or type its name) and tell Sunflare which game it is. Useful for games with odd program names or custom launchers.
A modded game runs as javaw.exe, which Sunflare can't identify on its own. Start the game, choose javaw.exe from the running processes, and map it to the game's name. From then on it shows correctly every time.
Hiding programs#
Under Don't show these processes, add any program you never want reported, even if it opens a game-like window.
Who sees it#
Friends and members of servers you share see what you're playing on your profile card and in member lists. To hide it from everyone, turn on Hide My Activity in Privacy settings, or turn the module off. (Streamer Mode doesn't hide it.)
