Running a server

Poster boards

A poster board is a channel made of widgets instead of messages: a freeform canvas you arrange like a bulletin board. Use one as a welcome page, an info hub, a schedule, or a live dashboard for your community.

Making a poster board#

  1. Create a channel (Manage Channels) and choose the type Poster Board. See Creating a channel.
  2. Open it and click Add Widget in its toolbar.
  3. Pick a widget type, fill in its settings, and click Add.
  4. Drag widgets to move them, and drag the corner handle to resize. Click a widget's edit button to change it later.

Only people with Manage Channels (for that channel) can add, move, edit, or delete widgets. Everyone else sees the board and can use interactive widgets like polls. A board holds up to 60 widgets.
